Historic England have listed 17th Century Heywood House as Grade II*, a category of national importance. And both its outdoor and indoor spaces were designed in such a way to be perfect as a venue hire for events and celebrations.
Over the years, we have embellished these spaces, for pleasure as well as a venue for business. We can help you with a variety of occasions: Away-Days, corporate entertaining, product launches, team building, conferences and yes, celebrations! It’s all about the Venue and first-class Service.
THE MAIN HALL
The heart of the original Jacobean manor, this space easily converts into a Conference Venue/Fireside Chat/Event Space, banquet or dining space. Total capacity for this 1,378 sq.ft. Hall is up to 120 people.
THE CONSERVATORY
The Conservatory can be exclusively hired for events for up to 60 people, or, with outdoor space and marquees, for a larger corporate event.
With over 35 acres of beautiful parkland, gardens and grounds there are numerous locations available here for your event. The outdoors combined with our Conservatory and in-house catering makes Heywood House the venue you will be pleased you chose.
COACH PIT AND PARKLAND
Once a pit for washing the Baron’s coaches, this is now a unique space for conferences and entertaining up to 250 people. The Pit is level, with its own power and data points.
WALLED GARDEN
The 19th century Walled Garden is self-contained and unusually extensive. Perfect for performances and outdoor gatherings, with good access from the main car parks.
THE LAKE
The newly restored Victorian Lake is a magical location for outdoor events and entertaining. It covers two acres with islands and has room for marquees.
THE FRONT LAWN
Nestled between the lake and the Jacobean Mansion, it is the perfect setting for an event. It benefits from its proximity to the Topiary garden and car park.
THE CIRCUIT
13 acres of outdoor space, perfect for team building activities, with a 1 Km running circuit round its perimeter and access into the Coach Pit and gardens.
“We had a most brilliant day, and everyone really enjoyed coming to Heywood. Thank you to the team for looking after us so well and helping our event to run so smoothly.”
